Ticket Terms and Refunds

Ticket terms and refunds

These terms apply to every ticket sold on gvs.foundation for the GoodVibes Birthday on 11 and 12 September 2026. Please read the refund section: a ticket to a dated event does not carry the usual 14-day right to change your mind.

Who you are buying from

The seller is GoodVibes – Essen, Kleidung und niederschwellige Hilfe in Wien für Menschen in Notlagen (“GoodVibes Foundation”), a non-profit association registered in Austria under ZVR number 1741769261, Spittelauer Lände 12 / Bogen 335A, 1090 Vienna, Austria, sup@gvs.foundation. Full registration details are on our Imprint page.

The contract comes into existence when we confirm your order by email. That confirmation, together with the ticket attached to it, is your proof of purchase.

What you are buying

  • Outdoor Stage — Friday 11 September 2026, 17:00–22:00 — €5
  • Outdoor Stage — Saturday 12 September 2026, 17:00–22:00 — €5
  • Secret Afterparty — Friday 11 September 2026, starting after the outdoor stage — €15, rising to €20 and then €30 as tickets sell
  • Secret Afterparty — Saturday 12 September 2026, starting after the outdoor stage — same price ladder

The outdoor stage is at Spittelauer Lände 12 / Bogen 335A, 1090 Vienna. The afterparty location is deliberately not published in advance; it is announced to ticket holders on the night.

Afterparty prices rise as tickets sell — the first 50 at €15, the next 40 at €20, the last 10 at €30. The price shown at the moment you pay is the price you pay. All prices are in euro and are the full amount: nothing is added at checkout.

One ticket, one person, one scan

  • A ticket admits one person to one session on one day.
  • Every ticket carries its own code and a QR code, which is checked at the door.
  • A code can be admitted once. The first person to present it gets in; a second presentation of the same code shows up as already used.
  • Keep your ticket to yourself. If you publish your QR code and somebody else uses it first, that is not a ground for a refund and we cannot let you in on it.
  • The afterparty needs its own ticket. An outdoor stage ticket does not include it.

There is no 14-day right of withdrawal

For most things bought online in the EU you have fourteen days to change your mind. Tickets to an event on a fixed date are one of the express exceptions to that rule.

The exception is § 18(1)(10) of the Austrian Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz (FAGG), which implements Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU: there is no right of withdrawal for services connected with leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Our tickets are for specified dates — 11 and 12 September 2026 — so the exception applies to them.

We are telling you this before you buy, which is exactly what the law requires of us. By completing your purchase you accept that you have no right of withdrawal for these tickets.

If we cancel or move the event

  • If we cancel a session outright, you get the full ticket price back. You do not have to ask.
  • If we move a session to another date, you may keep your ticket for the new date or ask for a full refund. Write to sup@gvs.foundation within 14 days of us announcing the change.
  • If a session has to be cut short after it has begun for reasons outside our control — weather, an order from the authorities, a safety problem — we will look at a partial refund case by case. We will not pretend a rained-off evening is your problem, but we cannot promise a fixed figure in advance either.

Refunds go back the same way you paid, to the same card, normally within 14 days. We charge no fee for a refund that we caused.

If you change your mind

  • We do not refund a ticket because you cannot come, your plans changed, you missed the start, or you did not like the weather forecast.
  • You may pass your ticket to someone else. Forward them the ticket email or the QR code — whoever presents it first is admitted. We are not part of that arrangement and cannot mediate if it goes wrong.
  • We run no resale platform and endorse none. A ticket for these events bought anywhere other than gvs.foundation is at your own risk: we cannot tell you whether such a code is genuine or has already been used.
  • If you bought the wrong day or the wrong session by mistake, email sup@gvs.foundation before the event and we will try to swap it. That is goodwill on our part, not a right, and it depends on there being room.

A line-up is not a promise

DJs and running order can change. A change of line-up, a change of running order, or the announced afterparty location not being what you had pictured is not a ground for a refund. What you are buying is admission to that session on that date.

When a ticket stops being valid

A ticket code is withdrawn and will admit nobody if:

  • the order it belongs to is refunded, in whole or in part, for any reason;
  • the payment is reversed, charged back, or fails after the fact;
  • the code has already been used at the door;
  • the ticket was obtained fraudulently or the code was tampered with.

If a payment is charged back after you have already been admitted, we will ask you to settle it.

At the door

  • Bring your ticket on your phone or printed out. The QR code has to be readable.
  • If the QR code will not scan, the door team can look your ticket up by its code — so have the code to hand.
  • Our team may refuse or end admission where a ticket has already been used, was not paid for, or where someone’s behaviour puts other people at risk. No refund is due in those cases.
  • Capacity is limited: 200 people per outdoor evening and 100 per afterparty. Once a session is sold out, it is sold out.

Complaints, and the law that applies

If something goes wrong, email sup@gvs.foundation first. We are a small volunteer association and we would far rather sort it out with you directly than through anybody else.

Austrian law applies. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in — this clause does not take that away from you.

We are not obliged to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body, and we do not currently do so.

Your data

What we do with the name, email address and billing address you enter at checkout, and with the ticket code itself, is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.

These terms

These terms were published on 3 September 2026 and apply to orders placed from that date onwards. The version that governs your order is the one on this page at the moment you place it.

Still not sure?

Ask before you buy, not after

If anything above is unclear, write to sup@gvs.foundation. We would much rather answer a question now than refuse a refund later.
