Terms and Conditions

These are the general terms on which the GoodVibes Foundation sells through this website. Last updated 6 September 2026.

Who you are dealing with

GoodVibes Foundation is a non-profit association under the Austrian Associations Act 2002 (Vereinsgesetz 2002), ZVR 1741769261, at Spittelauer Lände 12 / Bogen 335A, 1090 Vienna, Austria. You can reach us at sup@gvs.foundation. The full register details are in our Imprint.

What these terms cover

They apply to every order you place through gvs.foundation — event tickets, membership, merchandise, and food and drink. For event tickets our Ticket Terms and Refunds apply in addition, and where the two say different things the Ticket Terms win. Your own terms of business do not apply.

How an order becomes a contract

Showing something on this site is an invitation to order, not a binding offer. Placing the order is your offer; the contract comes about when we send you the order confirmation by email, or earlier if we deliver first. Before you send the order you can check and correct everything in the basket. We keep the text of the order and send it to you with the confirmation.

Prices

All prices are total prices in euro. Value-added tax is not shown separately.

Afterparty tickets are sold in price bands that rise as places go. The band that applies is the one shown at the moment you add the ticket to your basket, and that is the price you actually pay — a single add is never split across two bands without telling you.

Payment

We take card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EPS and Link through our payment service provider Stripe. Payment is due immediately. We never see or store your full card details.

Delivery and collection

Tickets are delivered by email as soon as payment is complete; they are not posted. Membership is activated on your account as soon as payment is complete. Merchandise, food and drink are handed over in person at the association’s premises or at one of our events — we do not currently dispatch goods by post.

If an email does not reach you, write to sup@gvs.foundation and we will send it again.

Your right to withdraw — and where it does not apply

As a consumer you generally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving a reason (§ 11 FAGG). The period runs from the day you, or someone you name, receive the goods; for services it runs from the day the contract is concluded. To withdraw it is enough to tell us clearly — an email to sup@gvs.foundation will do. We refund within fourteen days, by the same means you paid.

Two statutory exceptions matter here:

  • Event tickets. A leisure-time service tied to a specific date carries no right of withdrawal (§ 18 (1) (10) FAGG). Ticket sales are final. What happens if we cancel or move an event is set out in the Ticket Terms.
  • Food, drink and anything else that spoils quickly (§ 18 (1) (4) FAGG).

Membership

Membership supports the work of the association and is governed by the association’s statutes. It does not renew automatically — it runs for the period you paid for. You can leave at any time by writing to sup@gvs.foundation. Membership is personal and cannot be passed on to someone else.

If something is wrong

The statutory rules on warranty apply. If something reaches you faulty, tell us and we will put it right. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you.

Our liability

We are liable without limit for injury to life, body or health, and for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. For slight negligence we are liable only where we break an obligation that is essential to the contract, and then only for the damage typically foreseeable in a contract of this kind. Liability under the Product Liability Act is unaffected.

How we behave at our events

Our events are open to everyone and we intend to keep them that way. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, harassment and violence will get you removed, without a refund. Please follow the crew’s instructions on site. Admission and the door are covered in the Ticket Terms.

Complaints and dispute resolution

Write to sup@gvs.foundation first — most things are settled in a message or two. We are not obliged to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body, and we do not do so. As a consumer you can turn free of charge to the Internet Ombudsstelle (ombudsstelle.at), an approved Austrian conciliation body for disputes arising online.

Your data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Applicable law

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not take away the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country you live in.

These terms

If any provision is or becomes ineffective, the rest stands. We may change these terms for future orders; the version that applies to your order is the one published at the moment you place it. This version is dated 6 September 2026.
